Strong Fiscal Leadership.
“Our future and Millbrae’s sustainability depends on fiscal responsibility. La Quinta taught us every business impacts our budget. As your councilmember, I will work hard to ensure any new developments are a good fit for our city. Developments should never harm our city budget, but should spur economic growth, strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for seniors, families, and all who live and work here.”
Public Safety, Safe Schools & Neighborhoods for everyone.
“Anyone who has been the victim of a property crime knows we need to reduce the number of smash and grabs, catalytic converter thefts, broken car windows and robberies. I will work with our law enforcement leaders to find workable solutions to reduce the number of property crimes. Public safety is my top priority! I am committed to making Millbrae’s diverse communities safer and stronger by maintaining excellent emergency services, safe school sites and neighborhoods.”
Improving streets and our downtown means getting back to basics.
“Many of our streets and roads desperately need repair and our downtown needs help! I will advocate for resources to expedite paving projects that make our streets safer. I will also be working with our diverse small businesses to hear directly from them how they are navigating uncertain economic times, and how the City can help them thrive and grow. I firmly believe that if our small businesses are thriving, so will our quality of life.”
Climate Change, Sea Level Rise, Flooding & Fire Prevention.
We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, filled with picturesque shorelines and moderate climate year-round. As your council member I will take action to fight climate change impacting Millbrae including sea level rise and flood prevention from climate-induced atmospheric rivers, repeated power outages, reducing fire risks by working with central fire to promote year-round wildfire prevention, vegetation management, and promoting water conservation in dry seasons.
Together we can ensure a healthy, sustainable future for our seniors, our most vulnerable families, and the next generation of Millbrae residents. Please join me in this vision for Millbrae’s future.
Affordable Housing & Compassionate Solutions to Homelessness.
I love Millbrae because it is a diverse and welcoming community. We are already the fastest growing city in San Mateo County. We need to ensure existing and future housing developments are well planned and more affordable along El Camino Real so our children, essential workers, and first responders don’t have to move away.
Developments on the transit corridor should reduce street traffic and boost commercial activity. I will continue the city’s efforts to require future housing projects to include more affordable housing units, work on programs to ensure seniors can stay in their homes, and preserve the affordable units and existing housing that makes our neighborhoods and city beautiful.
The cost of living in this region is high and getting more unaffordable every day. Every family and child should have a safe place to live. Providing compassionate solutions for the unhoused is already happening in Millbrae. I will continue to champion Millbrae’s support of programs unitizing LifeMoves’ outreach to engage homeless individuals and provide supportive service, access to resources, effectively transitioning them to interim and permanent housing.
