Thank you for visiting my website to learn about my vision for Millbrae and why I’m running for city council.

I never thought about running for the Millbrae City Council. But after learning that San Mateo County planned to convert Millbrae’s La Quinta Inn into supportive housing, without gathering residents’ input or consensus, I knew I had to act.

Coming together with other residents, we discovered Millbrae stood to lose millions in hotel taxes and hotel workers would lose their jobs.  These losses would negatively impact Millbrae’s ability to deliver critical city services. Although this matter is still pending in the courts, together, our grassroots efforts made a difference.

But we all knew we had work to do for the long term, and many community members and sitting city council members encouraged me to run for an open seat on the city council. I am honored to have enthusiastic and broad support derived from the strong relationships forged with community members, local leaders and elected representatives of Millbrae.

I love Millbrae.  It's a wonderful and caring community.  I am running for City Council to once again unite our residents and ensure Millbrae remains safer and stronger for years to come.

Join us!

Respectfully,
